Week of Ethics

Metas Adventist College is committed to spread Ethical Culture hence by Celebrating Week of Ethics. This initiative was conceptualized to engage students while making a visible mark in the student’s ethical progress. The endeavor was to plan a few impactful activities that will help cascade the culture of ethical behavior in to our students. We try and facilitate this through learning and experience sharing. As part of Ethics Week, a host of engaging activities were conducted. The focus was to create awareness on the importance of Ethics. This Week Of Ethics is for the Awareness of Ethics to all the Students, Which will showcase the Ethical Values & Expectations, it will also help as reminder of How we Incorporate Ethical Decision making in all the Activities that are being performed-

• Decoration Day
• Kindness Day
• Gratitude Day
• Integrity Day

The Activities were focused on bringing awareness to Ethic , we Reinforce the Principles of Recognizing the Hard Work of Staff Members & Promote Our Share Values.

1. TheDecoration Day : It was celebrated on the very first day of week of Ethics, where all the Bulletin Boards Of the College Campus were being 2 Decorated by the Participants as per the Allotted Themes.the teams were made according to the classes. A group of five or more were invited to participate into this competition. The competition was held between 7.30 to 8.30. Almost 100 students participated in the competition. Mr Agnew and Mr Lynnel judged and declared the results for this competition.

2. Gratitude Day : The 2 nd Event Of the Week Which was Gratitude Day was celebrated on 23rd of July 2019. To develop a sense of gratitude towards the fourth grade employee of the institute, the students arranged a felicitation ceremony. All the Helpers Were called up on the Stage in the Conference Hall & as a Token of their Hard-Work , Passion towards their Job, they were given Appreciation in front of Everyone also a Gift for their Dedication. Some consumables were also distributed for these employees.

3. On The Day Of Kindness : The third day of week of ethics was celebrated as ‘Kindness Day’ In which all the Students , faculty Members were taken to the Adventist Hospital to Interact & show Kindness towards the Patients by Gifting them Fruits and doing Prayers for their Early recovery and Good health! This kind gesture of sympathy touched the patients very deeply and they blessed everyone in return.

4. Integrity Day, Last and Final Day of this Week of Ethics was Celebrated as Integrity Day, in which Volunteers of VivaCity Club were Allotted different classes were they have Projected a Case Study & all the classes 4 Participated in such Fun Ethical Awareness Activity. The Ethics Quiz conducted was based on situations that one could encounter in professional life. This initiative saw wide participation, All the winners were felicitated.
