Entrepreneurship and soft skills development organized by IIM INDORE
An innovative workshop on “ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND SOFTSKILLS DEVELOPMENT” was organized by IIM INDORE with Make intern in Metas Adventist College on 28th and 29th of November, 2018 for the students of Bachelor of business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Commerce(B.Com) under the leadership of Entrepreneurship/ Brain Waves club and Placement cell.
Keynote speaker was Mr. Arvind Navagire (Certified trainer of IIM Indore). He conducted 4 sessions on various tools of marketing, ways and tricks for self improvement with no weakness, Finding your true self, communication skills to explore their business ideas with their promotional strategy. The session was conducted through various activities like role plays, presentations, case studies, advertisements etc.
Total number of participation was 36. Out of which 5 student are selected to represent our college at IIM Indore for International level B plan competition. The five student which are selected are
- 1. Muskan Narang (FYBBA B)
- 2. Joel D’souza (FYBBA C)
- 3. Mridul Baid (SYBBA A)
- 4. Anshu Gupta (FYBBA B)
- 5. Saharsh Raja (SYBBA B)
The workshop was being inaugurated by Mr. Mohan Rao (Head of Department of Management)
Members of Entrepreneurship club – Mrs. Tushti .P. Bakrania, Ms. Sneha Nandwani, Ms. Richa, and Members of Placement cell – Mr. Khirod Dalpati, Mr.Parvez Malek, had delightfully executed the event along with the volunteers.
Entrepreneurship club and Placement cell is extremely grateful to our President and CEO Dr. Srikakolli Elliah and Vice President Mr. Mohan Rao for his moral support and guidance to conduct this workshop successful.
Our genuine thanks to technical members, Mr. Samuel, Mr. Lynnel , Mr. Dharmesh, and Mr. Ajay for their technical support throughout the workshop & all staff members, student volunteers who have made the event a grand success with a very short notice period.
