Entrepreneurship and Soft Skills Development in Metas Adventist College

The students of Metas Adventist College, Surat who were selected by the Keynote speaker of the workshop Mr.Arvind Navagire from IIM Indore on ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND SOFT SKILLS DEVELOPMENT IN METAS ADVENTIST COLLEGE were sent to IIM KOZHIKODE for an INTERNATIONAL B-PLAN COMPETITION where they had to showcase their best and innovative B-Plan. The students along with a faculty were invited to participate in the event which took place on the 2nd& 3rd of February’ 2019 hosted by INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT, KOZHIKODE.

Teams from all over India participated and had business plans from all over the globe. In total there were 75 COLLEGES from about 14 STATES from the country.

The event that was organized on the 2nd was the first round where the institute formed groups of 5 of all the 75 colleges and best 17 B-PLANS were selected amongst which our college was one and on the 3rd February was the final round of the competition where the 17 colleges were judged and our students did not miss one chance to impress the judges and bagged 3rd prize in the competition 2 The students that represented our college at International level:

The overall experience was so enriching for the students as well as the faculty and all the students and I are grateful to Our President and CEO Dr. Srikakolli Eliah, Vice president Mr. Mohan Rao, the club in charges because of whom the event took place Mrs.Tusti. Bakrania, M/s SnehaNandwani, members of the placement cell Mr. Khirod Dalpati, Mr.Parvez Malek and all our faculty members for supporting and giving the students their genuine guidance.

When you are preparing for such a big level of competition the smallest looking contribution has turned out in such a great achievement.

Congratulations, to all the students for their hard work. This prize was only possible because of the dedication and efforts of all the students. We had the best team possible and you’ve brought us great pride.
