  • Best Out of Waste

    In today’s world recycling has a very important place. There are a lot of things around that are labeled as dump. But the irony is that most of the dump collected is useful for others if recycled. Best out of waste is one of the most enjoyable crafts that students can be engaged in. This activity was organized by spectrum club to explore and encourage creativity in students and offer them a platform to showcase 2 their skill. It inspires them to think and work creatively and promote artistic excellence.

    The Inter-college Best out of waste Competition was organized on 08th August 2019 at 10:30 am at student centre in college campus. Students participated with full enthusiasm in the competition. Student came up with amazing ideas using waste materials. A variety of material like were used to design useful goods like chair, wind charm, Tree, Bicycle, photo frames etc were made by the students and appreciated by everyone. The final judgment was made by Ms.Paridhi Bansal. The criteria for judgment were: Creativity, Utilization of resources, Artistic composition and design, Eco friendly and overall presentation. Total of 10 volunteers helped in overall organizing and controlling of the program. There were 22 groups each consisting of 4 members who participated in the event from the courses BBA and BCOM . Each of the goods prepared by the student were very innovative. To made the selection process extremely difficult for the judges.

    This fun filled activity witnessed an enthusiastic participation of all the students. Three winning groups were selected, each were given different categories of trophies.
