• Annual sports day 2018-19

    Sports play a great role in our life as it keeps us healthy, wealthy and active. We can have a healthy mind only when we have a healthy body. Great achievements come our way when we maintain our physical and mental well-being. We can say sports as forms of competitive physical activity played by the people through casual or organized participation. It helps everyone to improve and maintain physical ability and skills. It is a way of entertainment to the participants.

    Keeping the objectives in mind METAS ADVENTIST COLLEGE, SURAT organised annual sports day on 28th January, 2019. The event was organised at the school sports ground. The activities under the sports day was divided into two categories.

    The field events and the track events. The warriors’ club invited entries for both boys and girls in different categories. Total 300 students enrolled themselves for the different events.

    The Track events were:

    • 1) 100m race
    • 2) 200 m race
    • 3) 400 m race
    • 4) Sack race
    • 5) Relay race
    • 6) Lemon & spoon race
    • 7) Skipping race
    • 8) 3- Legged race

    The field events were:

    • 1) Long jump
    • 2) High jump
    • 3) Shot put
    • 4) Tug of war

    The sportsman for the year 2019 was MR. BORON - (T.Y B.COM)

    The sportswoman for the year 2019 was MS. HIRAL- (F.Y BBA-D)

    The College Sports Day was a successful event with the co-operation of the entire members Warriors club – volunteers, Teachers and motivation by the audience

    Our students really enjoyed College Sports Day with the spirit of sportsmanship.

    We are extremely thankful to Mr. Mohan Rao Sir- VP ACADEMICS, ,Mr. Syam Prasad Gaddam Sir- AVP ACADEMICS ,Mr Khirod Dalpati SirPLACEMENT HEAD, MR LYNEL KISKU Sir- COMMUNICATIONS HEAD for their continuous support, guidance and motivation..

    Also we are extremely thankful to the Warrior Club Volunteer’s It was the hard work of the volunteers and even able leadership, direction, motivation of the Warriors Club faculties- Mr Nirmal Satyaraj Sir, Mrs Surabhi Sugatthan, Ms. Vishwa Kikaganesh and Mr Parvez Malek which made this event successful at next level in terms of performance.
