A session with author of book “Wonder Girls”

The METAS Adventist College had organized an interactive session with Ms. Varsha Adusumilli, author of the book “Wonder Girls”. The book is about millennial career options chosen by the featured girls. It will helpful for all students in their journey for career. The volunteers, faculty in-charges planned and organized this event. The, HODs of Commerce and Management Department, staff and faculty members, students made their gracious presence in the event.

The book, “Wonder Girls” is about making real, relatable millennial role models accessible for young women in India. The book is published in both print and digital formats. The goal of Wonder Girls is to showcase to young women that no matter who they are, where they come from and what they look like, there are diverse career choices and life paths available for women. When young women see others like them pursuing dream career paths, they know they can too. The author, Ms. Varsha A. Studied at BITS Pillani- Goa, and immersed herself in the world of startups. She was also one of the founding team members of a digital media start ups. She is passionate about women, books, healthcare and start-ups. The girl participants of the college have attended this session very enthusiastically and inspired and motivated by her interactive talk.

Students, faculty members, HOD of the department and all others have appreciated this activity. Students feel proud and happy of being involved and participated in this session. METAS Adventist College always believes in educational, technical, social and holistic development of students.
